Ziad Al Ahmadieh
Composer, singer and a talented oud player who plays oriental Jazz and fusion. He is a regular at MOJO CLUB live every Friday with his band. Ziad also composes music for films and television series and theatrical productions. His career started in 1992 with the founding of the quartet group Beirut.
He gave concerts beginning with Lebanese American University from where he graduated. He toured the US and Europe performing in many cities such as Chicago, NYC, Geneva and Paris. He loves mixtures incorporating piano, bass and percussion in his second album in 2006 “Beyond the Traditions”. His first album “Bilbal” was released in 2003. His experimentation has received such support from the public and collaborated with American composer and musician Gene Coleman on a video.
